My embarrassing relationship goal for 2024 (How to nail your goals)

Introducing the 3 bucket life system.

Health (physical, mental, emotional).

Work.

Relationships (with yourself and others).

For me, these are life’s 3 big buckets that need managing.

You can add a 4th bucket if you’d like. Personal, leisure/hobbies, spiritual bucket.

It depends on what’s important to you.

In 2024 I have an outcome goal for each of these buckets.

πŸ₯— Health: Improve my energy levels
πŸ‘¨β€πŸ’» Work: Write and share more
πŸ’• Relationships: Have one πŸ˜†.

For each of these outcomes, I have actions to focus on. These are the things I can control.

Health:

  • Get to bed at the same time and wake up at the same time.
  • Track my calorie, macro, and micronutrients to make sure I am eating enough for my activity levels

Work:

  • Write an extra newsletter every Monday.
  • Choose 1 social media outlet to post on M-F

Relationships:

  • Approach 1 women every day I find attractive and introduce myself
  • Spend 1 day a week connecting with friends

These may not help me achieve those outcomes but they sure in hell are more likely to than if I do nothing.

If eating better, moving more, and losing a little body fat is one of them I want to make it easier on you.

β€‹πŸšΆβ€Walk more: Doesn’t matter how much. More than you do. If you’re a numbers person, more than 7,000 a day.

πŸ‹οΈβ€ Lift weights/resistance train with progressive overload: At least 1 day a week.

​πŸ₯¦ Eat 3 balanced meals a day and reduce snacking as much as possible. This will help you eat more nutrient-dense foods and fewer calorie-dense ones.

🏑 Eat 90% of your meals at home: You’ll have control over what and how much you’re eating.

πŸ“±Track your eating for 30 days. I prefer weighing food and tracking calories and macronutrients. If that’s not your thing take pictures or write it down. You’ll change behaviors by doing this and learn so much about what you’re doing. Versus what you think you’re doing.

Do each of these for 30 days and watch what happens.
